Questions
Straight answers. If yours is not here, just ask.
What is UV printing?
UV printing lays ink directly onto a hard surface and cures it instantly with ultraviolet light. The result is a full-colour image bonded to the object, not a sticker on top of it.
Is there a minimum order?
No. One item is a normal order. Larger batches are cheaper per piece because the setup cost is shared, but we will happily make exactly one of something.
How much does a personalised gift cost?
Most of our finished pieces land between £30 and £60, including the item, the printing and the design work. Small items such as keyrings and chips start around £12.
How long will it take?
Three to seven working days for most orders. If you have a hard deadline, tell us when you ask and we will say yes or no rather than hope for the best.
Can you print on something I already own?
Usually yes, and it is most of what we do. Send a photo and tell us the material first — some coatings will not hold ink and we would rather know before you post it.
Will the print scratch or fade?
UV ink is hard-wearing and does not fade in sunlight the way inkjet does. On tools and everyday items it stands up to normal use, though nothing survives being dragged on concrete.
Is it dishwasher safe?
No. Hand wash printed drinkware and flasks. Dishwasher detergent is abrasive and will dull the print over time.
Can you do our company logo in exact brand colours?
Close, but not identical. UV printing cannot hit every Pantone exactly. We will show you a proof and, on larger runs, print a sample first so there are no surprises.
Do you design the artwork?
Yes. Most of what we make starts as a rough idea and a photo. Design is included on bespoke pieces unless it becomes a job in its own right, in which case we will say so.
Where are you, and do you deliver?
We are in Mildenhall, Suffolk. You can collect, or we post anywhere in the UK by tracked service. We cover Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket, Ely, Thetford and Cambridge regularly.
Can you print film, football or game logos?
Not for sale. Those designs belong to someone else, and we will not reproduce a brand or character we do not have permission to use. We will happily design something original instead.
Do you do clothing?
No. T-shirts and workwear need a different machine. We print on hard goods — metal, wood, glass, plastic, leather and slate.
